Thank you

A huge thank you for your kind donations of pirate themed toys and fancy dress items. The children are so excited to have new things in the room to use next half term. Your kindness and generosity is appreciated beyond words.

Floating and sinking

Today in science we went outside to test our boats. first we put our boats in the calm sea after that a storm came! We all made storm sounds and one at a time we used the super soaker to attack the boat. Some of our boats survived but unfortunately some sank! Grace Darling would have needed to come and save us if we were really on the sea.

Pirate boats

In science we are making our own pirate boats. We will tests them next week to see if they will float or sink.

Art

Today we have started to make our own pirate jumping jacks! While we were colouring our pirates in we listened to pirate music!

Enhanced provision

We have had lots of fun using the enhanced provision.

Addition

In maths we have used the part part whole bars to help us with addition.

Puppet show

We have loved exploring the puppet show! We bought ice cream, lolly pops and popcorn to enjoy while the show was on.

New role play area

Today in art we started to make our own pirate puppets. We all got very excited watching a video of a puppet show so Mrs Sharman has made a new role play are which is a puppet show!
